Fly Green Alliance have been established for 5 years. We are a travel and transport ESG focused consultancy, with expertise in sustainable aviation fuel; and now in 2024 our alliance turns into a membership.
We have spent the last 5 years developing from 1 project from a booking.com grant into what has been named “a complex offer” and “work equivalent to the 4 big for a much better price, with more niche expertise”.
We have been honing our skills, experience and network to get to stage where we launch our membership this year. We believe in slowly building our foundations to make sure we can provide value and benefit to our members. We are now looking for support to grow our membership base so we can grow our team, reach, impact and influence into to enable strategic work to happen. We are known to solve problem, unblock topics, new approaches, be “market makers”, “market disrupters”, “business model disrupters” and we have had a key influence on bringing sustainable aviation fuel development forward. We are also now moving onto new tech and concepts.
We have proven our strategic ability to grow but now need sales and business development support to get to the next step in Fly Green Allianc’e’s growth.
We offer a referral fee for member introductions and will also be looking for sponsorship to move to our next phase.
About the role
- Working closely with FGA founder and CEO
- Work to understand FGA’s remit and strategic growth plans
- Work to understand wider industry topics in travel, aviation, tech, politics, trends and investment
- Be aware and keep up to date with current affairs, geopolitics and risk
- Strategic input into the membership liked and supported
- Commission based role initially but can grow to a perm role and evolve for the right fit to be membership manager and business developer or if sponsorship is gained
Your experience
- Experience in business development or subscription/membership development – turning maybe into yes
- Ideally knowledge of ESG or sustainable travel but can be taught
- Proven sales experience or change making
- Passion for impact or startup growth
- Be social media savvy and potentially be able to manage a CMS (TBD)
- Ideally be able to work at a fast organised pace
- Be responsive and able to navigate and handle change
