Fly Green Alliance were the world’s first sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) alliance to bring stakeholders together to pioneer the use and development of SAF for climate conscious air travel. FGA has been supported by leading global travel companies and was granted by Booking.com in 2019 as part of Booking Cares.

17th October 2024: FGA attends Norwegian and Norwegian Armed Forces SAF demo event in Alesund, where FGA founder, Sarah Wilkin, flies back to Oslo with the team on a 15% non-fossil fuelled SAF flight, for the first time in 7 years of working in the field! Read about FGA’s role here.
21st October 2024: FGA’s CEO, Sarah Wilkin, was formally invited to speak at the UN’s International Atomic Energy Association; FGA proposed to the 1200 attendees that aviation’s future energy needs can be supported by nuclear (SMRs), in these early development and knowledge exchange talks.
